Susan Nemetz is CEO and founder of The NemetzGroup and Corval, which combined in 2026 under The NemetzGroup brand to integrate senior biopharma advisory expertise with Corval’s commercialization planning technology. A proven leader in the life sciences industry, Nemetz helps transform biopharma companies from early-stage to publicly traded with her ability to see strategic opportunities, cultivate talent, and empower the team to achieve them.

In 2003, Susan created The NemetzGroup, a life sciences commercialization advisory firm that has partnered with hundreds of biopharma companies to guide them through the strategic and operational complexity of bringing innovative therapies to patients.

Susan founded her second company, Corval, in 2018, which is built on her deep biopharma commercialization knowledge and vision to vastly improve how emerging companies define their path to market. The company’s patent-pending technology platform replaces fragmented planning tools, enabling biopharma companies to build, manage, and evolve multi-year commercialization roadmaps, budgets, and resource plans.

Today, Susan leads the combined firm’s integrated approach to commercialization strategy and planning, which unites deep biopharma advisory and software development experience to advance client capabilities and streamline the path to patients.

Prior to establishing The NemetzGroup, Susan was Vice President of International Commercial Operations at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. She also served as Vice President of Global Commercial Strategy, leading external and internal initiatives to achieve the company’s commercial vision. Susan progressed through multiple commercial leadership roles at DuPont Pharmaceuticals, culminating in her role as Executive Vice President of Cardiovascular Therapeutics and Imaging.

Susan serves on the Board of Advisors for Life Science Cares, a collective effort of the life science industry to eliminate the impact of poverty on Boston neighborhoods, and is Vice Chair at Good Shepherd Community Care, a healthcare organization focused on hospice and palliative care.

Susan received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Minnesota.
