Johanna’s dynamic communication and interpersonal skills allow her to effectively interface with executives, cross-functional teams, and strategic business partners. Her extensive finance background helps us prioritize our resources and optimize performance.

Johanna joined The NemetzGroup in 2021 through her role at Corval, leading the Finance Operations team, progressing to COO, and is currently CFO. Johanna provides strategic insight in presenting financials, key accounting decisions, judgments, and recommendations to our internal executive team. She excels at strategically prioritizing, coordinating, and steering projects to optimize the use of resources, boost productivity, and ensure achievement of stringent deadlines and performance goals.

Prior to joining our firm, Johanna held roles ranging from Vice President, Controller & Principal Accounting Officer to Chief Financial Officer at startup companies. Johanna began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, leading her to Vertex Pharmaceuticals as VP Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. She has also worked as Chief Financial Officer at Karmadata and as a fractional CFO for various startup companies prior to joining Corval and The NemetzGroup.

Johanna earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Boston College.
